Chris Smith is one of the partners for Houston pool company Marquise Pools. He has a BS Degree in Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University. He is registered with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners License # 2185 and also holds an associate’s degree in Horticulture from Oklahoma State University. Chris goes out of his way to create unique and innovative master plans that are tailored to the various lifestyles of his clients. The flow of his master plans seamlessly overlap the poolscape, planting palette, outdoor living systems, and lighting effects into one cohesive and functional plan. Chris meets with the design team weekly to motivate, innovate, and re-charge the entire studio’s energy.

Chris’s master plans are highly recognizable in the industry, and they truly are a unique work of art and function. Artistry many times comes from within and not a learned gift, yes the professional degree helps business flow, but true artistic abilities come from above.

Chris loves Hunting, Fishing, Golfing, and most of all having fun with his family.

Michelle Easton started working with Marquise Pools in 2018 handling material selections on all our projects. That quickly led to her designing pool projects. For over ten years, she has done interior design work in the Houston area. This interior design knowledge helps her connect with a client’s desire for seamless indoor/outdoor living. Incorporating the interior aesthetic with the backyard pool, outdoor spaces and other unique features. With a background in engineering, art history and art from University of Houston, it gives Michelle a well-rounded approach to design and structural challenges.

She loves spending time with her family and loves to travel with two kids that play soccer. You may even see her running the endless trails in The Woodlands.

As one of the original founders of Marquise, along with current owner and President Chris, Greg has been part of the company since its inception on April 1, 2001 and still considers it his “first born”.

Along with heading all field operations and assisting the design and administrative teams Greg focuses daily on preserving and strengthening our company’s reputation and relationships. Greg also remains active as a project manager on many projects.

In his 27 plus years in the industry Greg has gained substantial knowledge and insight in all aspects of the swimming pool construction business and enjoys sharing this with every member of our team.

Along with Chris, Greg has been recognized in the industry for building some of the top award winning projects and being named numerous times to the Top 50 in the nation.

Greg’s greatest achievement over the years are the decades long relationships he has built with many of the finest trades, vendors, competitors and clients.

He is blessed with an amazing and supportive wife who never once has complained about the long hours and work weeks that are required to sustain the successes that our company has achieved. He is also the proud father of 3 beautiful girls who he spends almost every non-working moment with.

Andrew Hodgdon, the latest addition to our Houston pool company team, has expertly managed a  variety of complex projects for the last 15 years. He has built over a hundred custom pools and outdoor living spaces since joining the pool
industry in 2018. His quality of work and customer satisfaction demonstrates
his proven success.

Andrew has an associates degree in liberal arts from Excelsior College, and
studied engineering at Texas Tech before enlisting in the Marine Corps
during the Iraq War. In his 13 years of service, Andrew achieved the rank of
Gunnery Sergeant and was awarded numerous medals and accolades. While on
active duty he developed unmatched values, discipline, attention to detail,
communication, and time management skills.

After retiring from the military with honors, Andrew moved back to the
Houston area with his wife and two young daughters. He spends most of his
free time in the backyard, swimming and relaxing with family and friends.
His hobbies include woodworking, golfing, and fishing.

With her keen attention to detail and proactive approach, Casey guarantees that every aspect of the process runs smoothly, making the experience enjoyable for clients. Her dedication to exceptional customer service helps to build lasting relationships and trust with each client.

When she’s not busy helping clients, Casey loves being a mom to her energetic little boy. They enjoy spending their downtime outdoors, often riding his dirt bike and having fun in the fresh air.

Colby Smith joined Marquise Pools Team in July of 2021. Colby is a R.A.I.L. certified swimming pool repair/maintenance technician.  He has been in the pool industry for 6 plus years.  He is here to help make your backyard dreamscapes into a reality!

Outside of work, Kyler enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family. In addition to pools and swimming, Kyler is passionate about golfing, fitness, and cheering on Texas A&M sports.
