One of our very best decisions was hiring Marquise Pools! We had almost talked ourselves out of having a pool built and then Dave M. came to share his proposal. When Dave opened his laptop and presented us with the 3-D images of what our pool, spa and fire pit would look like in our yard, my husband and I were blown away! It was exactly what we wanted! Dave had listened very closely at what “we” desired for the design, (so different from the 2 other pool companies we had interviewed).

The process then began with a construction meeting with Greg. From that day, I knew that this was going to be a great experience! We felt so confident and comfortable with Greg and his plan! We knew there could be glitches, but that never happened. We loved that one trade was in and out at a time. This kept construction so organized! During this process my husband was out of town a lot, so I was a little nervous about catching things that didn’t look right.

Well, I worried for no reason at all! Our experience with Marquise Pools could not have been better and we will highly recommend them every chance we get! Thank you Greg, Dave and the entire Marquise family…you all are like family to us! We absolutely love our Marquise backyard paradise!!!

Got tired off seeing my neighbors have a blast during the summer, well mainly year around with the Houston weather we have. So I finally swallowed my pride and went and knocked on the door and asked who took care of them with their pool. Their response was call Marquise Pools. So I did and ever since then it’s been a walk in the park. I gave him my idea and he added a lot too it and made my vision even better (it’s even going to be better than the neighbors).

My family had been contemplating building a pool over the past year. We started out interviewing different pool companies and checking out their work. Upon a recommendation from a good friend who built with Marquise, we met with them to see what they had to offer. First of all, meeting with Polly was a breath of fresh air. Having met with other companies and being promised the moon, we sat down with Polly and she really listened to what we wanted. She was very insightful and direct. She would say “yeah, we can do that, but here is why you shouldn’t”, and would give us a better alternative.

Her pool design and taking into consideration things we never thought of, like drainage, landscape possibilities, made working with her so easy. As soon as we got the initial design, we were sold even more. Soon after signing the contract, we met Greg Watson, the owner. He came out and walked the design with us and made suggestions and really listened to what we envisioned, working with us to make a couple of changes on the fly. Greg would genuinely be excited to share some ideas and thoughts with us to make the pool of our dreams. Our project manager, Marvin, was so awesome to work with. He is very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make the building process easy.

Hands down, I would recommend this Woodlands pool company, and have, to anyone in the market for a pool. It has been a real blessing working with these guys and all I can say is that they are the best when it comes to construction, design and most of all, customer service. If I could add 5 more stars, I would and I would use them all over again. Was wondering why there was only one other positive review on Yelp. Seems like Yelp hides the good ones.

every phase of the construction has been amazing

We were referred by neighbors after seeing the most beautiful and well planned/designed backyard pool we had ever seen to Marquise Pools. We were told that working with their entire team would be great and that they stand behind everything. We are about one week away from having a completed pool, patio extension, fire pit and large summer kitchen finalized from Marquise Pools. Excellence and trust are the words that come to mind when I think about the entire process from design to completion.

The pool is spectacular, the design, quality and craftsmanship that has gone into every phase of the construction has been amazing. What a great job! I did a lot of shopping and comparing various pool companies but most of them were the same. Cookie cutter bare bones choices across the board. What I got from Marquise was a one of a kind, high end custom pool and entertainment area. From the design through the build process the customer service was awesome. Of course the weather impacted the schedule but the entire team did a great job getting the project done on time. Change orders, all of which were of my own request, where handle fairly.

The warranty and after installation service has been awesome! Defective lights were replaced within a week at no charge. What other Woodlands pool company does that? Thank you Chris Smith and the entire team for an awesome experience.

We visited the pool companies that want you to pick a shape from their selection and then choose a number of options but we wanted a pool that no one else had.  When we saw our dream pool in that beautiful color drawing we were absolutely blown away. You had listened to everything we had said and then applied your own design skills to take our ideas further. Your design was completely unique and tailored to our backyard shape. The difference in settling for something close and getting your dream pool was significant to us.

After interviewing 8 pool builders – we finally decided to use Marquise to build our dream pool. Dave took his time on the design and ultimately convinced us to completely flip the pool layout – and we are SO glad we did! As soon as he sent us his design thoughts – it made complete sense and we were scratching our heads – “why didn’t we think of this before?”! Every last detail was considered and he worked hard to stay within our budget.

Dave and Greg were both so honest and easy to work with and they genuinely wanted and earned our trust and business. Chris and Greg built our pool in 2002. They did a wonderful job of designing and building the perfect pool for our new home in Spring. Chris also designed the landscaping. The project was handled perfectly and professionally. Since then we have had Marquise Pools come back to add a fire pit, spa and the most beautiful stone spillway. The following year we also had them build us an outdoor kitchen. People that step into our backyard think they are in Hawaii. Chris design all aspects of our backyard and made it all come together perfectly. We are so proud.

a yard that is the envy of the neighborhood

Chris and Greg and their teams did a wonderful job of designing and building the perfect pool for our new custom built home in Bentwater. The pool is a key visual to our home and Chris’s design was exactly what we wanted. In addition, Marquise much to our surprise, can do all the landscaping work, not just building pools. The total package! Chris design all aspects of our landscaping elements and we basically ended up doing a turn key project for the entire outside of the home from the pool to the trees to the irrigation systems, landscape lighting, grass, drainage, terracing, etc.

We worked with him using his graphics systems to design our landscaping, of course with his expert input, and we have a yard that is the envy of the neighborhood and we are so proud to have! And, Marquise managed the project top to bottom and we just watched, approve things along the way and enjoyed without stress. In addition, Chris even helped us select, order and install our outside furniture, pool umbrellas, multiple huge planter pots, our decorative fountain and the decorative benches. Very pleased with Marquise Pools!

Marquise Pools is currently building an outdoor paradise for us, which includes a large custom designed pool, lots of decking and an over sized cabana with bathroom. Dave McCorquodale is our Landscape Architect Designer and Greg Watson is one of the Owners. Both are working on our backyard dream and their team work is functioning above our expectations!
